Revisions to WHA Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP)
In accordance with recent HUD regulation changes, WHA is revising its ACOP to comply with the required changes. All residents of WHA communities are invited to review and submit comments. Comments can be submitted to Erica Spruill at WHA's Main Office at the address below. The changes will be discussed with the WHA Resident Advisory Board before submitting a resolution to the WHA Board of Commissioners for approval at the February 2024 Board of Commissioners Meeting. Housing Management will contact residents to meet and discuss the changes during the week of November 20, 2023. And at a planned meeting on December 11, 2003, at 2:00 pm at WHA Main Office.

HUD recently notified Housing Authorities of changes in implementing Flat Rent Policies. WHA plans to present recommended changes to the Board of Commissioners at the December 2023 Board Meeting. The proposed changes will be available for review at the WHA main office and will be discussed with the WHA Resident Advisory Board prior to Board approval.
