Help Keep Our Kids Safe!

Please be mindful of this while traveling in residential areas.

A Message from the ED

As the summer season approaches, keeping safety on our minds is essential. So here are a few recommendations to help you stay safe and enjoy the season.

Firstly, please remember to stay hydrated and protect yourself from summer temperatures. Meteorologists are projecting the summer of 2023 to be sweltering. Therefore, if you have any challenges with your central cooling system, your property manager welcomes your feedback.

Secondly, please be mindful of the noise level and the activities of your guest during the summer months. We understand that this is a time to relax and have fun, but it's essential to be respectful of your neighbors.

Thirdly, if you are considering buying a home for the first time, the WHA, in conjunction with the Neighborhood Revitalization Project (NRP), is putting forth a positive force to implement changes in our community by helping residents become homeowners and build wealth, which will lead to improving financial stability. During the upcoming summer months, the WHA and NRP will host a series of workshops designed to provide information on the home-buying process, including methods to improve your credit score. These workshops are designed to ensure your home-buying experience is a successful one.

As we all dive into an active and busy summer season, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for being a part of our community. Our commitment to communication and focus on your feedback has been and will continue to remain the highest across the Washington Housing Authority's landscape.

So, with that, I wish you a great month, and I look forward to seeing you out and about!

Best regards.
